St. Marys River Fish Consumption Survey

Posted on by

Do you eat fish that have been caught from the Canadian side of the St. Marys River?

If so, we would like to hear from you!

Your input will provide the St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan (RAP) valuable information and help to guide future research projects and remediation efforts for the St. Marys River Area of Concern.

By understanding the consumption habits of local anglers, subsistence fishers and the general local public we will be able to form a better understanding of consumption patterns within our community. This information will help the RAP focus efforts on research and monitoring initiatives as well as be used in educational outreach efforts within our community.

This information is gathered by the St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan. The RAP is a partnership between government agencies, industry, environmental organizations, and public citizens that work together to develop and implement the restoration for the St. Marys River.

This survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and is confidential. All responses will be summarized in a final report and will NOT be linked to an individual.

We are NOT interested in knowing if you have a fishing license and will not be asking questions related to any laws.

To show our appreciation for taking the time to complete the survey, you will have the opportunity at the end to submit your name and email address or phone number to be entered into a draw for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
