Join GLO in the Garden!
Monday August 10th | 3 – 5 PM
Location: St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan Rain Garden (behind Korah Highschool) You can park on Cooper St and follow the walkable path, or park at the Northern Community Centre and follow the path to the bridge. You will see our team in orange high visibility vests.
Come learn about rain gardens, get hands-on with a community meet up, and explore simple ways we can all support healthier tributaries and the St. Marys River.
You can expect:
– Light garden tasks and clean-up
– Planting native species while learning about them
– A friendly intro to rain garden design and benefits
– Time outdoors with neighbours and volunteers
– A welcoming space for all ages and experience levels
Bring water, comfy shoes, and your curiosity. Drop in anytime, stay as long as you like. Let’s grow something good together 🌱
